2017 saw a number of achievements for Flight Digital.

We landed our first clients in January, settling in to the Fresh Factory NZ with a modest office space and Shehan joining the team back end, in February.

In March we took on a social initiative for the East West Link project, successfully gaining the third most submissions received in history by the NZTA in just 10 days.

In May we ran Ad's for New Caledonia Tourism with over 500,000 impressions within their target audience in NZ.

By June we moved office in to the less modest, purpose built space dubbed the Fresh Bunker, where we set up mini golf, beer on tap, an arcade machine, a vintage record player, brand new industrial copper trimmed bathrooms, showers and kitchen, a back deck for bbq's and office space for ten.

In July we welcomed a number of clients and with them came Rebecca McCabe, our Social Media Specialist. Her addition to the team was at a much needed time and her skillset and personality helped to grow and develop the team into what it is today!

In August we started campaigning for Pleasuredome The Musical through SMM, SEM and SEO. By September we had them on page one for all terms through SEO. By December we'd reached a total of 4.5m+ with over 7m impressions, 52k+ link clicks, 19k+ SMM post likes and 50,000+ ticket sales, through SEM and SMM..

..All this with the help of Christiana Malone who joined the team in September, leading the charge in Marketing Strategy and Account Management. With ample experience in Influencer Marketing, Social Media Marketing/Analytics, as well as some front end development skills, Chris has played and will continue to play a fundamental role in the development of our team.

Mid December we launched the first part of an exciting campaign with MTV's Comedy Central.. more info to come..

A lot of this was made possible thanks to content partnerships through 2017 with MDV Creative, Brick and Kollab. With their help, Flight Digital have been able to optimise the delivery of a broad range of content, growing over 50 Kiwi businesses, building over 20 websites and launching over 100 campaigns.

Now's the time where we say thank you to all who have been involved in our First Year's business, especially to our clients and staff as well as all who have supported us on this journey, AKA our day 1's, we'll always look after you guys.
